Chers Parents
Le dernier jour a été très rythmé, avec en autre la visite
de la Maison blanche et de la basilique « Immaculate Conception »,
le tout avec un temps très « british» voir « Londonien »!!!!
Je crois que tout le monde est rentré sain et sauf.
Ce voyage a été exceptionnel.
J'en garderai un excellent et merveilleux souvenir,
j'espère qu'il en sera de même pour les enfants..
Ils ont été extraordinaires
J'en profite pour dire :

Dear Parents
The last day was very regulated rhythmically, with the visit of the
White House, Washington Monument and the Basilica of Immaculate
Conception, the all with a very « British» weather.
I believe that everyone returned healthy.
This trip was exceptional.
I will have an excellent and wonderful memories,
I hope it will be the same for the children..
They were extraordinary.
I take this opportunity to say:
Thank you Diana for your patience and your perseverance.....
Thank you Sylviane for your precious assistance...
Thank you Parents for your trust and support...

Dear Parents,

We had lot of fun today.
We went to the Naval Academy.
We saw all the sports facilities and cannons.
Then we went to the State Capital of Maryland where George Washington resigned.
We went also to Fort McHenry where we watched a movie and looked around.
We had lunch and went shopping in Baltimore. We also made up Arnaud.
We went on a Swedish Boat and explored it. After we went to the aquarium
where we saw sea creatures and amphibian and reptiles. We also saw a
Dolphin Show. Victoria got to pet the dolphin.
Then, we ate dinner at ESPN Zone and play games.
We started to pack our bag and we play together in a room until Arnaud
and Diana sent us to bed.
We will see you tomorrow. We love you.

Aujourd'hui, nous sommes allés au « Naval Academy ». C'est un université
servant à entraîner les personnes qui veulent être dans l'armée et dans
la Navy (beaucoup de personnes célèbres y ont étudié).
Puis nous sommes allés visiter le « Fort McHenry » et nous y avons vu un
film qui nous a expliqué le « Star Spagled Banner ». Après avoir
contourné le Fort, nous sommes partis déjeuner.
Nous nous sommes reposés et nous avons maquillé Arnaud.
Ensuite nous sommes allés à un aquarium où nous avons vu plusieurs
poissons impressionnants et un spectacle de dauphins. Victoria a eu la
chance d'en caresser un !!!
Enfin nous sommes allés au restaurant ESPN Zone et après avoir mangé,
nous avons joué des jeux...
Après être rentrés à l'hôtel, nous avons commencé de préparer nos sacs,
et nous avons presque tous joué dans une même chambre.
Diana, Arnaud et Sylviane viennent de nous envoyer au lit.
Nous allons bien dormir.
A demain soir, à l'aéroport, ne nous oubliez pas !!!

On the second of our trip, we took an early start and headed over to the
Air and Space Museum. We saw a lot of historical planes such as the
Wright's brothers plane. We the went to see a movie on aiarplane carrier
for a period of 6 bmonth.
After that interesting experience, we went to the national Smithsonian
History Museum and saw many relics on presidents.
We also had a lunch there.
Next we went to the National Art Museum. They were both very interesting.
Dinner time was welcome !!! We went to Union Station, a train station,
to eat and shop. We borrowed lot of money to the teachers....(just kidding!!!)
We concluded our long but cool day with a illuminated tour of Nation's Capital.
We saw historical monuments such as the Vietnam and Korean War Memorial,
the Lincoln Memorial and the Albert Einstein Monument.
Now, we are sleeping (they suppose...)

Cher parents,

Ce matin, après un excellent et très copieux petit-déjeuner,
nous nous sommes déjà rendus a Nasm.National Aerospace Museum (très
intéressant), histoire de l'aviation. Certains élèves, avec Arnaud,
ont eu la chance d'essayer un VRAI simulateur de vol de la Navy. Ils ont
pu piloter un vrai "Fighterjet". Ensuite, nous sommes allés voir un film
IMAX sur la NAVY, puis, nous sommes allés visiter Musée des présidents.
La pause avec le lunch fut la bienvenue..
Ensuite, nous avons enchaîné, avec les musées nationaux d'histoire et de
la nature, avec un petit intermède au Musée de l'art. Comme vous pourrez
les photos, la journée fut TRES musée, mais très intéressante.
Nous avons eu un bon diner à la gare "Station union",
et nous avons fini la soirée par la visite de quelques monuments, avec
entre autres, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, et Albert Einstein Memorial..
Vous nous manquez beaucoup, (sniffff), mais qu'est ce qu'on s'amuse bien...
Les élèves de 5ème.

Les enfants et les adultes sont bien arrivés. Tout va bien. Demain peut-être de la neige. Les enfants ont dormi...et sont en bonne forme.

The students and the chaperons have arrived. Every thing is OK. Tomorrow snow may be. The children have slept and are in good spirit.

Cher parents
Partis à 21 heures 15 de San Diego, et arrivés à 8 heures 10 à Washington,
le débarquement français dans la capitale US a été un grand succès.
Premièrement, nous avions faim et nous sommes donc tous allés prendre
un petit-déjeuner à Starbucks et Burger King.
Ensuite on a tous rejoint le bus et nous sommes partis pour explorer la
Virginie et le Maryland.
On est allé voir le Mont Vernon. On a alors visité l'ancienne maison de
Georges Washington et son ancienne ferme, tout ça au bord du la rivière Potomac.
Ensuite, on a visité le cimetière national Arlington, puis finalement on
est allé écouter de la musique écossaise au Centre Kennedy.
Voilà, la journée a été longue, et quand vous recevrez ou lirez ces
quelques lignes tapées par Arnaud, nous serons en train de faire un gros
DODO... A bientôt.

Dear Parents
We arrived in Washington D.C. witloof problem, arround 8: 10. Upon
arriving, everyone was hungry, so we went to starbucks and burger king.
At 9: 45, we all got on a huge bus to go and visit Mt Vernon, where
George Washington lived.
We also saw a Farm, and a few on his personnel things.
Later we visited the Arlington National Cemetery, and we are dinner at a
buffet restaurant.
We also went to listen a Scottish fiddler on the J.F.K center for
"performing Arts for everyone".
We are a little bit tired, but very happy.
Everythings is perfect, and the hotel very nice.
